Fastest Way To Generate Traffic

Quality directory listings, social bookmarking, quality back-links from good PR sites (related industry) ETC...

 

This may sound silly coming from the 'SEO Tard' however, why do people use video to generate traffic - do you stick the link in the comments, or do you add it to the video itself?

 

I have TubeFool, and can invite the heck out of people to become friends of my channel on YouTube. It works pretty well. As far as the link to your website, you can show it in the video, but it can't be clicked on. You can put it in the comments. Recommendations are to list it first in the comments. Youtube Invites are a Major way I get overnight traffic without having a list.

 

The best way to create a large stable stream of traffic is through creating quality relevant content and as much of it as you can and getting your relevant links out there.

It doesn't matter if its videos, artictles or posts etc... people are looking for information on the internet so give it to them. Successful sites/blogs offer information the searchers are looking for think quality and quantity of links, content and pages etc and start marketing.

A few great places to start getting traffic for newbies is hubpages, ezine articles, forums like digital point and creating optimised well written content for the great Google to digest and send you those visitors.

But make sure that the comment is useful and provides added value. Apart from the fact that the blog is moderated, I ruthlessly delete all blog spam that doesn't add value and just wants to get a link.

In terms of organic SEO, the fastest ways to generate back links is blog commenting and forum posting, and yeah youtube videos also count for considerable extent.

Add the link to the description and make sure that it's the first thing up there. You can also watermark your video or put a link at the end of it. Commenting on other popular videos is a great way to bring traffic to your channel and the better your comments are, the more traffic you'll get. People will start subscribing to your channel and your videos will get more views. It's pretty simple really...
