Fastest way to build a real list?

Hello,

I know that many people are focusing or building lists.
I just wanted to know what you personally find most effective?

Especially unique methods that you use.

I'm trying to find new stuff to add to my videos to make them extremely comprehensive, and any new ideas would be great.

You can purchase mailing lists from marketing firms. When i was doing some work in the auto industry, I looked into getting all auto dealers within 100 miles that had a NAICS within the auto industry.

 

Make something cool and give it away for free - people will flock.

- Create a useful online tool that requires registration to access some or all of the functionality
- Write an ebook or multi-part e-course that the user provides their email to receive
- Write a small software app that solves a problem and give it away with registration

Basically, if you offer people something truly useful for free, not only will they give you their email, but they'll go tell their friends to do it as well.

 

List building can be fun, but it should be targeted. For instance, if you are promoting something for free and you offer it by just requesting an email address, then chances are the people on your list will never buy anything from you...I say this because the primary purpose of building lists is to sell sell sell.
