Fastest growing niches?

    Hi folks,

Here's a question that I was pondering about for a while and would like to ask your opinion on.

What do you think are the fastest growing niches? In the sense that, which kinds of sites do you think would have the biggest visitors increase within one year after launch (and of course I imply that the site would be properly maintained, with daily updates, attractive layout, cool features, etc...)?

It seems before it used to be social networks, but now the market is oversaturated.

Your thoughts would be highly appreciated.

If anyone sees a hidden niche that could probably grow once one website popularizes it, I doubt they're going to say anything about it.

Internet business is a dog-eat-dog world.

    RTL,

    I don't mean a "hidden" niche :)

    More like the general direction...

Should the site be about music, technology, SEO, video games, jokes, etc...

There's thousands of sites online for every niche anyway, so it's not like if one more appeared it would kill YOUR revenue.

All the "unhidden" niches are saturated. In the original post, you said which niche would grow the fastest, so that implies undiscovered/hidden niches.

Sorry if I didn't express myself correctly.

I think more like 'general' niches, or rather directions:)

I would've just liked to hear something like "my music site grew much faster than my videos site", or other similar comparisons.

I would not go into a "hidden" niche that I know nothing about to be honest... Currently I run a bunch of tech sites, but I'm just wondering whether maybe I should expand into something else = music, technology, SEO, video games, jokes, etc...

Anything poker related is growing extremely quickly right now but the market is so saturated that even though there are so many new poker players entering the market, competition is still very tough.

I can see a few niches popping up in the not too distant future, information sharing is growing very quickly. Social networking is going to another step of information sharing rather than sharing photos and videos etc.

There will continue to be an increased demand for credit repair due to ever tightening restrictions on most every loan program on the market. That being said, the market for Credit Repair is heavily saturated by both legit and shady operations. Still though, most people are at least marginally interested in improving their credit...
