Faster way to tell if a term is trademarked?

    Hi,

I've had a few random ads blocked due to trademark. Some of which I wouldn't have thought would be trademarked terms.

I've been using the ad diagnostic tool to find out whether or not certain phrases are trademarked but this is very slow as I need to create an ad using the keyword/phrase first.

I'd much rather be able to just type in the keyword and see whether or not it's already trademarked.

Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks,

    fcmisc.

I unfortunately don't know any good tool but know how google acts in this respect. Google will not suspend any adds unless trademark owner writes a complaint. Once the complaint received they will first ask you to remove the keywords or terms and wait for 2 weeks. If no action is taken or explanations received they will disable the add.

I though know about the tool which monitors the web for websites that use your trademark and alerts you. http://www.oneupweb.com/search-marketing-services/trademark.htm
