I was just wondering if there was a FREE program out there that i could download or just use to make it easier and/or faster for me to add my site to directories?

Lazyseo.com might be what you are looking for. But the site is currently down, for shifting I think...
    Bye :)

It's not FREE but you could pay people to list your site on directories for you.

Yeah, I just hired someone to submit a brand new site of mine to a bunch of directories... it's nice to simply verify/review your email instead of trying to find all the sites and submit to them yourself.

I'm just curious, how much did you pay them and for how many directories? Pretty soon I'm gonna need to submit a site to a lot of directories.

I mooted an idea of automated directory submissions a way back (see http://www.itamer.com/automated-directory-submissions/196/) where webmasters could like to an xml file which directory software would read and then present a "bulk submission" form for editing, category confirmation etc.

It would make it easier for paid submissions too as they'd all be handled at the same time.

If the idea took off directories would want to provide the integration as webmasters want submissions and would choose the directory system that made it easier.

Plus webmasters would still need to visit your directory and not work though a submission tool.

Just my evangelical two cents :)

Is it any good when you have multiple sites?

I tend to have a list in front of me, start at the top and work my way down.

Yeh it's quite handy ;) You can add multiple sites, then have multiple anchors, descriptions and your name/email ready to choose from for each profile.. :)

Our tool digiXMAS Submitter is fastest semi-automated directory submission tool on the market. It's not totally free, but helps you much even you don't intend to pay :D.

IMHO there's no FREE software that really could save your time in submitting your website to the directories.I have tried a free(which is actually not really free) software, and it consumed more time to me rather than using InFormEnter.

If you are used to FireFox,then InFormEnter is the best.It saves 50% of my submission time, because you don't need to type anymore.Try it first then you'll know why it was recommended here.=)

    Hope that helps,
