    Hello, few days ago I found tips how to increase firefox speed, and save a lot memory (RAM). So lets start.

    Enter into your adress bar about:config

    Found:

    * network.http.pipelining
    * network.http.proxy.pipelining
    * network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

    And change these to:

    * network.http.pipelining” į “true”
    * network.http.proxy.pipelining” į “true”
    * network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to 30.

    Next step:

    Press right mouse button on free space of your browser and choose NEW>INTEGER

    [IMG]

    Write nglayout.initialpaint.delay press enter and set value to 0

    The biggest part of job is done!

    Go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy and remove tick from Remember what I’ve downloaded

    NEXT:

    Chose NEW>INTEGER [IMG]

    and write browser.cache.memory.capacity
    [IMG]

    Now you need to write amount how much You will give for firefox of memory.
    Lets say you have 256 MB of RAM, then you write 4096. If you have 512MB of RAM you write 8192 and etc.

    And last very helpful tip. When you minimize your firefox it almost will stop using computer memory.

    Press on free space and choose New ->Boolean
    Write config.trim_on_minimize
    And choose TRUE

    RESTART FIREFOX :) I hope this will help you , good luck !

    Nothing gonna freeze. Everything will be perefct. Before these tips firefox was taking 130mb of ram, after these max 90mb of rams, and when firefox is minimized it takes only 30mb of ram :)
