Faster Crawl Rate?

    I noticed that there is a Faster Crawl Rate option in google's webmaster tools.

    But I cant select it for any of my websites (old & new). It's all grey and it says that: "At this time, crawl rate is not a factor in your site's crawl."

    Why is that and What can I do to be able to select that?

    Google automatically adjusts the crawl rate depending upon your frequency of update. The crawling speed of the bot can be increased only if you have started updating your contents very frequently. Otherwise leave it to the bot to take care of your site at its own pace. :)

    I do have websites that are update daily and still that field is gray
