    Hi,

I just found a trick which can enable Faster Crawl option when it's disabled. I was wondering what will happen if I apply that trick and use the Faster option. I mean what will google do if they ever find out that I'm illegally using that option?

Would be interesting to try it and report the change in crawl rate, let us know if you do!

I think it's not safe to say the trick before I get some information about it. Since you guys don't know, I think I'll contact Google and talk to them about this matter directly.

    Can't take a risk.

I have lot's of bandwidth buddy. I know faster option will definitely crawl a lot more than normal.

    I sure will.

Thank you all for replying so far. Anyone know Google Webmasters Tool support email address?

The 'faster crawl' option is 'disabled' in webmaster tools, because it doesn't exist. I don't believe that mailing google will change that one bit. Nor will any script get your site crawled faster.

I think it's not a good idea to go against google's rules. Probably the risk is to be banned.

I am a new webmaster and am not sure how long it takes for Googlebot to renew the cache of my newly-created site. I am sure that it is unpredictable to a large degree, but can someone tell me...are we talking about days? weeks? or maybe even months?
