When signing up for fastclick it says that SSN is only for US residence. If you are a US residence and you don't input your SSN will you automatically be declined? I would hate to type in my SSN just to get declined. Could you enter in your SSN after they accept you? Thanks
I'm pretty sure they only need your ssn for reporting the end of the year 10-99. Send them an email to find out for sure. The main factor in getting access to Fastclick is unique visitors per day. They typicall disapprove accounts with less than 2000 unique visitors per day. This is based on my experience.
I agree with Yze. The reject most people. My site GarageApartments.com is running FastClick. It only makes about $2/month from FastClick.
I've had a couple of sites rejected by Fastclick, too. It's very frustrating trying to sign with them. I had one Fastclick site which was bringing in around $200 a month, but when I updated my site under a new domain name, they rejected it; even though the new site was much nicer than the old one. They were pretty liberal in their acceptance policy to begin with, but are getting really picky lately. If you're a US webmaster interested in signing up with a new pay-per-click network, please check out JiffyClick.com. We're just getting started, but we have very open acceptance standards. We're paying 50% for click-throughs with bonuses of 5%-20% extra for high click-through sites. We'll also be adding some CPM advertising in the very near future. And we will evaluate your site before we require you to enter tax information. Our referral program pays 5% for referred ad sales and 5% for CPC click-throughs from referred sites. We've had several DigitalPoint members sign up from a previous post, but we could always use more. So, drop by and look us over. Be sure to use the 'Contact/Support' link if you have any questions or any advice on how we can make JiffyClick better. Thanks, Keith www.jiffyclick.com
No problem! Thanks for taking a look. Unfortunately, yes, we must receive the SSN before we can settle an account. We wish it could be otherwise, but the Feds require us to collect tax information when we pay out earned income. They're kinda funny that way.
