FastClick earnings estimate

    Hi,

I've been using AdSense on a niche recipe site that gets about 500 page impressions per day. I know it's small, but I have plans to add a lot more content to it over the coming months.

My query is, how much would I earn now with 500 impressions per day from FastClick? And, how much could I realistically expect to earn if it was pulling in 4,000 page impressions per day?

    Many thanks!

you say you get 400 impressoins, just do the math. FC now VCM (ValueClickMedia) gives you the ability to see your rates. So simply look at the rates that they provide and do the math.

Are those popup impressions or overall impressions? Lets say you get 400 impressions for 6 types of ad units (728x90, 160x600, 300x250, popups, interstituals, and invue), that equals 2400 impressions total. Each unit pays different rates, but you can check the earnings in your publisher interface to see what you made with each unit.

But with a low count of 400 impressions, it might not even make you might...even with 4000 impressions. You might go with adsense...it might work better.

Hmm, their new minimum is 3,000 impressions. Funny, when I signed up a while back it used to be 2,000 uniques minimum...

But anyways, with 500 impressions a day you're better off with Adsense. I doubt you can get into Valueclick with that, and plus even if you did, earnings would be dismal. With any CPM network, you need impressions in the 10s of 1000s (at least) to make good money.
