yo, I am going to be making a new blog and i was wanting to know whats the fastest way to get a PR rating.... i dont need traffic to the site i just want the PR and alexa rating... any help appreciated.
you don't control how fast you can get PR, you have to build links, then wait until google updates it's pr on it's data centers, the google update usually happen every 3-4 months or so.
About PR, what i can say is its hard work if you wanna do it by yourself, but if your site is naturally good. then you will get it by.. even may be from the next PR.
I went from PR0 to PR3 in 1 and a half months. Quality content and a few Backlinks from HIGH PR-Sites.
I started a travel blog back in 07, and I didn't even try to get a page rank or was even paying attention to the concept. I was not seeking any oneway backlinks either. However, from my content I was getting a lot of google search hits, and my travel blog got a page rank of 4, to my surprise, after a few months.
Getting a few links from high PR pages will seriously increase your PR... most likely you'll have to pay for them but a few backlinks from PR6-7 should get you at least PR3. As for Alexa you need to have a website which is visited mostly by people who use Alexa toolbar and mostly it's webmasters thus your website should have information for webmasters. Ever wonder why there're so many directories with little traffic but goog Alexa ranking?
If you have some money you can buy links in directory or perhaps get a high PR relevant links for your site. Actually getting PR isnt that easy coz it requires loads of time, effort and money if you really want to gain it the fastest way
PR is updated by google onced 3-5 months nothing to do about that Why the hell somebody wouldn't want traffic but will want 2 worthless things like PR and Alexa ?
