Fast Hosting

    I need some help. currently I am hosting on Hostgator.com but its very slow as I have about 70000 active rows in my mysql (about 65mb).

    I need a faster host. For the amount of traffic my site has (about 1200 unique users per day) its not generating a lot of money. So I have to look for something less than 50 dollars per month.

    Any quality ideas?

    Currently on shared as that is the most economical. I dont know if for less than 2000 users I need to move to a VPS. If so I can as long as its less than $50.

    One other thing I didnt know - is VPS supposed to be faster than shared? or is it just the same speed but with more control?

    Hostgator is working fine for me. I dont know how according to you it is slow. Anyways if you find it slow then go for Godaddy or Lunarpages. Both of them are giving nice responses. :)

    if Yew are on shared hosting, then might be a prob, because Shared hosting have limited Cpu Usage and memory, Better To use VPS or Dedicated Server
