I will agree dream directory is a nice example that we have to follow to achive good results.
and the desighn is so nice.....

Just installed a new mod at Link Moz. It's a homepage news mod. Pretty good and useful for adding content to my homepage.
I remember my directory a month ago with no mods at all and no blog. Great progress.
Maybe you don't but I know you might know it better in the future.
Big addition coming for June.

Well I thought I may as well add mine into the fray as I am not in the "big boy" gang yet

Directory Share has come on leaps and bounds since I re-launched it back at the end of Feb / start of March. I have invested well over $2000 into the directory and this has thus far produced over 100,000 links registering in Yahoo (I was too late for the last Google update). My Alexa ranking has been moving in the right direction since launch, now showing as 136,000 so everything is going well so far.

Pagestrength is currently showing 3.5, this was 4.5 but I made a load of changes to the site yesterday so I am waiting for the search engines to pick it up.

I have also invested countless hours of programming time into my free mods which are increasing in popularity and I plan on launching a series of free templates in the coming weeks.

 

I think my Number 1 Quality Link Directory is another new, fast growing directory. Promotion is going on for it.

I liked Dream Directory here. Great achievement in such a short time!

 

I would really like to follow this directory, as I tried your mods and I am very satisfied. You surely know the job, so lets see how you make it work. Maybe we can learn a few things.
Keep updating the thread with improvements and news.

I have not yet announced my directory on forums officialy but soon the moment will come for you guys. Articles and themes are UP, also with some changes. 2464 are the total categories as of now but adding more.
