Fast growing General Forum, well established PR5

I am looking to sell my general topics forum. It has a steady growth, a wide variety of topics, and has a great userbase. The forum has a substantial number of mods added to it. I have added in blogging, games, a downloads area (which I don't use yet), a picture gallery (which I don't use yet), an automatic newsfeed that puts feeds into the forums, the entire site is search engine friendly so all threads can be listed, the attachment mod, videos can be streamed direct from forums as can sound clips, Points system is in place, and a large variety of other minor modifications, including quick reply, colored fonts, and small little additions. The site has a massive emoticon setup as well, which are highly used by the members.

For the current month of March, the site is at 6,217 posts, so it should clear 12,000 posts for the month. A lot of the site's traffic is into the gaming area.

I have currently setup no advertising on the site, however, I have had great success with YPN in the past.

I am selling the site, because I found out that I will be in military training for 3-4 months starting in May/June and will have virtually no time to work on the site. It has a very dedicated userbase and a lot of content... the site should be quite the powerhouse in time.

Why are you no longer using YPN?

 

I did a modification to my header and when I did that, I accidentally took down the ads. As this has never really been about making money, but more or less a project that I really had fun creating.. my only real goal was to make enough selling links to pay for hosting, and occassional contests, which I easily do.

But with my leaving for 4 months with the military, there's no way I can take care of the site... especially when I know 4 months will probably end up being 6, 7, 8... who knows..

 

You post anywhere from 100 to 500 posts per day yourself, correct?

 

I post about 30-50 a day myself.. Then another 100-500 a day are news feeds that go to a news dump for search engine purposes. Those aren't counted in the totals. Only posts by members are counted. I just started doing the news dump fairly recently after I found a lot of my old news articles were the links getting the most search engine traffic.

 

I like your forum. But I think you should also mention here that the links on the pages are sold for one year and cannot be removed before one year.
