I finally bucked up and purchased the Gold edition of FastBlog Finder this week so I could write a review of it and compare it to my site (DoFollowSearchEngine.com). So this is the disclaimer that I have a competing interest. I honestly expected it to return dozens of great relevant dofollow sites based on what I've read here and on other forums and websites. Another reason I haven't been quick to compare it to my site! That's why I was amazed at how underwhelming my test results were. 1) Each search takes about 10 minutes to complete. 2) The search results are often completely off topic. Especially for multiple word searches. 3) And this was the shocker!!!! Only 50% of the results that were tagged as dofollow were actually dofollow. I can only assume people take the results at face value and utilize the built-in internet explorer instead of confirming the results in firefox with a do follow plugin. Here's a link to my review. Fast Blog Finder Review Has anyone had better results? Am I missing something?
I wrote a PHP script who search blogs using search engines, it's difficult to determine which site follows comments, even if I filtered bookmark sites, their own site pages and other where webmasters usually put the nofollow tag. However, I think my script is more accurate than Fast blog finder. I would like to share it, but I need to find a good PHP hosting that allows more than 30 minutes of script execution.
Its still good though if you consider how many do-follow sites it will find you. I have gotten loads of links using Fast blog finder - worth way more than $50, that's for sure.
I agree I've found some new blogs with this tool. But I would suggest if people want Dofollow blogs they copy the url into firefox and confirm because their automatic screening script is flawed.
I also used fast blog finder but I only availed of the free edition.. It wasn't that useful to me because everytime I search for a blog using a particular keyword, out of the 10 results, only one is do follow.. Worse is that sometimes it is not do follow.. So I had to uninstall it and make use of do follow search engines..
Yes, I have also used it trial version, seems to be nice but buy this version is not making any sense. BTW nice info
Nope thats a fair review but for $50 that isnt a bad result. You can get some nice links but yes it takes time.
I am also looking to buy this tool. However, I am still researching on how better this could help me to build links. Also there are some sites offers 15 to 20% discount.
Similar tool i had used once. But let me tell you such tools and softwares guarantees you to fetch do follow blogs. But in reality they are mere promises. If anybody find this tool useful please do let me know.
