Fark - Paid listing

Has anyone ever paid for a listing on fark?

I was looking at it tonight. For $40 is it worth it?

fark, is a massive site like digg.

 

I've used fark.com quite a bit, and i have noticed that almost all the comments left by people who will look at your classfied ad are negative comments, so it could do more harm than good.

I used to read Fark regularly (from about 2000-2003). It's an AMAZING source of traffic if your audience fits solidly into the 15-year-old range.

 

It more or less bombed my website.

 

I paid for it once, and didn't like it. Like someone above said, most people leave negative comments or are just trying to be dicks. I wouldn't mind constructive comments, but I never received any of those. It wasn't worth $40, maybe $20 because the traffic wasn't all that great. I have paid $3/month for more quality traffic from Adbrite...
