Fansite - Word Press or Custom Coded Site

    Hey, I'm wanting to create a fansite for a music artist but i don't know which to choose, would using Word Press (blog style) or Custom Coded Site be better seo wise?

    also, does using word press have an effect on seo ing?

    Thanks for the help, i'm a newb in the whole seo stuff.

    Wordpress is seofriendly build and you can have seo friendly URLs

    You can have seo friendly URLS in a custom coded site, since you are naming the files/folders.

    But yeah since you say you are a newb I would recommend wordpress as its going to be easier for you to run once its set up.
