Fancybox left and right arrows

can someone please advise me on how i can get the left and right arrows to appear with fancybox?

i'm having the issue of not seeing left and right arrows on the gallery in this page... http://www.fireandcreme.com/serendiparties/parties/

It talks about supplying rel attributes. You should have unique rel attribute inside the a tag for each picture group.
Then the arrows would appear automatically.

 

thanks...this site is a bit unique in the sense that ...all she does is put images in thru Media. i go inside the pages and there are NO pictures in there. so other than putting images in thru Media "Add New" ...there is no other way she puts in images. usually i will see the images in the page file and the code will look like this...

....but i don't see this HTML anywhere in any of the pages.

that's what i don't get. whoever built this site, had fancybox working for all the images put in thru Media ...i guess

 

What system is your site built on? or who built your site?
This task is for someone who knows HTML or PHP

 

built in wordpress.

i know html and php...i'd say on a grade level with php a... c-. but well versed with html/css.

i didn't initially build this site..although i altered a bunch of stuff to it, never altered fancybox. i did everything mentioned in there. here's the catch. when she puts images in the gallery...she doesn't insert the image inside the page. that gallery is nowhere in any page or post. not in any content. she just inserts the images thru Media. and that's the catch. any 'rel' reference to the html tag isn't doable because it's nowhere to be found. all she does is add the image in Media and that's it. that's what's so strange about this. i've used lightbox a lot ...but never fancybox and i think this was the reason why...just too much involved for just a simple left right cursor. it's like the difference between wordpress and joomla. one's more basic and simple and the other is 10x's more intricate

 

it could also be that she's using an older version of fancybox and not fancybox2? idk...i'm completely stumped over arrows

 

What is the exact version of Fancybox?

Maybe the reason is just that your WYSIWYG editor simply removes the a rel attributes.

 

well, usually in a gallery...you could see the code but in this case, as i mentioned there is no code because she just inserts them via Media. which i find strange. i'll look at that link...
