    I wouldn't trust the delivery, it would take ages to get to you! Imagine the afternoons you'd have to take off work...

    eBay's adverts can be funny or just strange... They're fully automated so there used to be no "moderation" whatsoever, as witnessed in this incident at the beginning of this year: Need an African slave? Try eBay

    I believe that after that royal muckup they've had to put some more thought into it, on "special subjects"... But obviously the space shuttle is too commonplace an item to warrant such attention :D

    I always imagined that it wasn't ebay themselves, but overzealous affiliates buying up all the cheapest adwords. :)

    Heh, didn't think of that, always assumed it was automated through a special deal with Google. You could very well be correct, but I'm not sure what an affiliate had to gain by trying to sell slave labor (well, if the publicity wasn't factored into it...)

    I guess that the publicity is a good one. But also anyone actually searching for info on slave labour would see it and probably exclaim "WTF!" and click on it to see - after then the cookie is set and it that person does actually sign up the guy is in the money.

    Perhaps.
