Famous name in domain

Lets say I take the name of a very famous writer, make a domain of that firstname-lastname.org , then put a forum on the site, telling people they can discuss about the writer and his work. Will this give me any copyright, trademark issues??

I would expect you should be OK, think about how many fan sites for top bands and celebritys there are out there.

Concerning the copyright issues, you may want to check out "fair use" laws and how they effect you. The reasoning is, that the fair use act allows you to use certain content if its for reviews, discussion, or educational purposes. Sometimes they restrict length and other stuff, but knowing that act may help you alot.
