    Posts 41 - 80

mitcharr (post 42): I like the grey colours update on your logo. This is one of my favourites. I also really like how the logo is a square. I still love the whole concept and how professional it looks. I would like to see some normal capitalization to see how it looks and maybe some different colour combinations. The logo is good how it stands however.

masjacky (post 43): Another great design! I like how professional the icon looks and I like how the text is well integrated together. All the elements are kind of interacting. The only comment I would have is that the icon box seems incredibly far away from the rest of the logo that it does not seem like it is part of the same thing.

    TightWad (post 44): Logo missing...

umxca (post 45): I like the small revision. The globe looks a little bit different. I like the globe without a circle around it. It looks very nice. I have thought about it and would like to see the globe showing Boston, USA, Miami, USA, and the rest of the US and Europe (any whatever else fits). I still am not sure that people will know what the leaves are supposed to mean, but like the logo.

HerDish (post 46 - top logo): I like this logo. I like how the orange ball is enclosed in the leaves like it is being protected or something. I still like the previous logo you did on the same concept a little bit better.

HerDish (post 46 - bottom logo): I really liked this logo. I noticed that the colours on the top part of the logo was different from the same icon you have on the bottom left. For this particular logo I liked the green from the full logo and the brown/yellow colour from the bottom left icon. Also, thank you for including grey scale logos in your designs. It helps me see how they will look in a black and white printout.

stellah57 (post 47): I love the underline here. I did not like the faint teal colour and the background. I would like to see stronger colours. I really liked the bottom font however. I also liked the concept of the icon. Very nice job!

DevilishBoy (post 48): I loved the concept. I am not sure if people can tell that the icon is supposed to be a 2 however. It looks like it is separate from the est of the design. I liked the font on the bottom. Would prefer the fonts used to be similar, but with normal capitalization and no bold text. I loved the black and white. Great logo idea!

devearoux (post 49): I love the simplicity of this design. I wish more of the other designs had similar concepts. I would prefer the icon and the text separate or, if not, at least more intertwined together. I loved the font used and its thickness. I like the icon and how both sides of the icon are not identical. That was a very nice touch.

HerDish (post 50 - top logo): I like the text used here. The two is a little too bubbly. Maybe make the two a different size than the rest of the text? I did not like the gradient on the top text so much. I love the shade of the bottom text. I liked most of your other icons better than this one, but this text was one of my favs from all your concepts!

HerDish (post 50 - bottom logo): This one is similar to one of your previous concepts. I like it, but like the colours I suggested previously. The text is also more 'fun' and italics here, but I think I prefer it more business-like. Great job. This concept is one of my favs.

    MantisArt (post 51): Missing...

devearoux (post 53): These all are similar to your previous concept, but I like how you arranged everything together. My favourites are the one on the top right and the one on the very bottom right (for monocolour). I love how simple your whole concept is.

cDashboard (post 54): I like how you put a little description on how the font is legal :) This is actually very important. I thought it was interesting how you just used text for the logo instead of an icon like everybody else. I liked the colours you used and how you used just two colours. I liked version 1. I did not like the actual font used since it is not too businessy. I did like the concept however. Very nice!

HerDish (post 58): This is probably one of my favourites of your designs. I loved the whole font. I liked how the two is a different height. I would have preferred it smaller than the rest of the text I think. I am not sure on the colours. Maybe a darker brown colour for the icon instead of orange? I am not sure how that would look though. Great job!

sLiMsHaDys (post 59): Great to see you again! I loved how the logo looks a little bit like somebody doing a peace sign with their hands (first two fingers up). I also think the whole logo looks a little bit like the official peace sign which I like a lot! I do think that the icon looks a little bit fake. Like I mentioned to somebody else, the icon is supposed to look fake, but it looks like it is trying to be real. I think this is probably due to the gradients and the shininess. I would have liked to see some skinnier, san-serif, more corporate-looking font. I liked the logo!

track (post 60): I like your logo. I did the like this logo, though I like your previous one better. I did not like how the leaves where the same image just inverted. Also, the lines that make up the leaves do not appear to be very smooth. I am not sure if that was supposed to be on purpose. I do like the logo though. Still one of my favs.

HerDish (post 61): Always trying hard! I like the font used. I would prefer less bold fonts and maybe the two being smaller than the rest of the text. I liked some of the other icons you created better than the fully green one. I am impressed with your designs skills.

mitcharr (post 62): I like the colour combinations here. I did not like the fully uppercase type used here. Also, if the two should be a different size (which I like), I think it should be smaller than the rest of the text (similar to how Georgia font does it). I liked the icon you choose here the best from your previous concepts. Still one of my favs.

HerDish (post 63): Looks to me like same exact logo from post 61. See above comments.

(post 64): This is a little bit funny, but your first logo looks slightly like the female reproductive organ in my mind. We should pobably change this so nobody else thinks the same way. :) I liked the font you used on all three concepts. I also liked the icon you used in concepts two and three. I just did not like the shading effects on the leaves as I mentioned to some other people. Overall, very nice concept. Good job!

MantisArt (post 65): What a simple and creative concept. I love how the icon has the leaves overlapping and forming a different colour. I also liked how they were two slightly different colours. I did not like the design of the 'a' in the font. I would like to have seen maybe a slightly smaller two. This could be the winning concept with just a little work.

you_love_me44 (post 66): One of my favourite designs. I loved the icon you made which exemplified the company name so perfectly. I also loved the colours you used. I am not sure on the background of the icon. I do not like the black in the font. I would have preferred a slightly lighter grey. I also would have prefered to see a slightly smaller two than the rest of the text and would have prefered a slightly skinnier font. I loved this concept and it is one of my favs.

NightVisioN (post 67): I love the concept. I love the leaves above the text. I do not like the fancy web 2.0 type stuff for this particular logo however. I would prefer no gradients or fancy shading effects. I liked the colours in the black logo however very much.

masjacky (post 69): I loved all these concepts. One of my concerns is just that the logo needs to be very legible. No cursive (though I did love that logo!). I liked how on some of the concepts you used a part of the text to underline the rest. Nice job on all the designs.

cDashboard (post 70): I would prefer all icons on the left side of the logo. In the middle it just splits of the words (though I did entertain the idea for a little bit, nice job!). I did not like the leaves in your logo too much, but this was a nice concept!

(post 72): I loved the changes you made. My comments above still apply, but I like the underline and the smaller text underneath.

DevilishBoy (post 73): I think the colours are great! The text is pretty good too. I did not like the design of the 'a'. I like the icon a lot also, but it looks like only one leaf. Thanks for including the black and white version!

crowquill (post 74): Wow! What a crazy design. I really like it. I did not like the design of the two so much. It is too boxy at the bottom. I loved the underline. I like how the 'e' and 'a' are inverted mirror images. I may have preferred an uppercase 'L' and a not so wide 'f' if that is possible. I liked the main colours. I do not like #000000 black so much for this design. My favourite colour combination was your top logo. Great job!!

Bucko (post 76 and 79): Nice design concepts. I was not sure about the spider web thing. I think it was supposed to be like the Web as in Internet, but I did not get that right away and other might not as well. I prefer solid colours instead of gradients and shadings. You can mix and match colours, but just keep them solid. I like normal capitalization and maybe the two smaller than the rest of the other text. Everybody seems to do the same thing lol. No need for a black background. Great job.

you_love_me44 (post 77): Great design concept. Instantly this becomes one of my favourites. I like the font and the colours. I would prefer normal capitalization. I also like your icon, but not the shaded/lighting effects. I would prefer the leaves as they are but with a solid background maybe? I am not sure. I like this concept. Very nice job.

umxca (post 78): I love how your logos are always so well put-together. I like the leaves in this design. I am still not sure people will be able to tell that is an 'L' right away. I LOVED the colours and loved the globe inside the 'a'. I loved the font used for the '2', 'a', 'e', and 'f'. The uppercase font on the bottom seems okay as well. Great and impressive design!

@HerDish and umxca: Thank you. I always try to be as fair as I can in my contests and always give feedback to every single designer.

    == COMPLETE COMMENTS (CONT.) ==

    Posts 81 - 84

stellah57 (post 81): I like your designs, particularly the top one. I love the colours used. I like the font a lot. I really liked the design of the '2'. Can I get an uppercase 'L' and the text on the bottom in normal title font? I like the icon, but the icon only has one leaf. I like the simplicity of one leaf, but it does not match the title of the company.

umxca (post 84): I like your new attempt. I think the design in itself is great! I love the colours. I am still not sure that the '2' is legible enough though I like how the icons still really look like leaves. I have not found any of the designs so far create a letter out of leaves that I really thought was perfectly legible. Maybe I am just being too picky. Yours certainly comes the closest. Nice job!

    == GENERAL TIPS ==

    • Style: logo should be simple, good-looking, and corporate-looking. Can you image it on the cover of the next soda you drink? (Maybe that's a bad example...)
    • Logo: Use earthy colours: light greens, browns, greys, whites. Stay away from colours that are too shocking like pinks and bright blues. Stay away from #000000 black.
    • Uppercase/lowercase: Use normal title case. Example: "This is a Title of a Book" See the current logo for an example of capitalization.
    • Font type: Use san-serif fonts that are simple and straight. No bold. No italics.
    • Sizing: If using different sizes for the different elements, try using a smaller '2'. Look at how Georgia font does it.
    • Web 2.0: Try to not use any web 2.0 effects like gradients, shadows, and lighting effects

For some reason my number system is off. Someone must have erased multiple posts and it has thrown the whole numbering system I used off. Sorry guys. All the comments are in order so you should still be able to figure it out!

    Logo was missing:

MantisArt (original post 51, current post 47): I liked how you included multiple design concepts and ways to display the logo. I liked the two and L put together and I liked the rounded box around them (no one else tried either concept!). I did not like the type of plant used for the icon. I would have preferred seeing something like mint leaves (as the current logo) as I think they look prettier. I really liked the sleekness of the font (minus the 'a' design). I would prefer a darker shade of grey than pure black (expect for the logo that is supposed to be entirely black). Very nice job.

    Your other logo:

crowquill (above): I love your logo style! One of the most creative logos in this entire contest! I love how the 'e' and 'a' are inverted opposites. It reminds me of that Dan Brown book. My only concern with your logo is that I just showed it to someone and it took him a while to read it. I must admit that it is a little hard to read. I am not sure if you can do anything about that since the concept is part of the legibility (unfortunately!). If you can: great! I liked how the leaves are different colours. I liked your previous logo a little more where the leaves are not intertwined but instead close together. I thought the '2' had a little bit of a awkward shape with the straight edge on the right (i.e., it is not rounded like a typical '2'). I loved the uppercase 'L' and I love the underline. I also loved the text you put under which would let me pick if I want to put just '.com' or just the other text or both. Very creative logo!

You guys are making my job very hard!

my new try is in attachment, and revised old one, I know you said you don't like gradients but didn't have the time to correct them all by overlaying
