Here's a v2 of the design, seeing how almost everyone has posted 2 versions.

Hey guys. Thanks for all the entries. It was a long weekend here (no work on Monday--I only go online during work days lol). I already know who I am going to pick, but as it takes me an hour or so to type up my comments I will do that later today (Tuesday). I am very happy with all the entries! :)

shinan: [from before] Thanks shinan. I love how you used red. It matches so well with the logo. I also love what you did with the red "white space" in the header image. This is probably one of the most professional headers I have seen in a content. A news feed is not needed as this will be a simple HTML website I will be making for a friend. Besides that, I really like the gray background on the bottom since it makes everything look very professional.

Abyss [first design]: Love how the logo is up there on its own with all the white. I also like how the email link is up there... tiny, but effective because there is nothing else bothering it. I also really like the link separating the main content from the sidebar. I also like how the footer is very small in height. Lastly, I like how the edges are kind of faded so it looks like the page it popping out at me.

Abyss [second design]: I like the blue you added here. I like how the theme is sky. I didn't like the change you made to the menu however. Not 100% sure why, but it looks too different from what you see on other websites. Just a personal preference I guess..? I did very much like your masthead image and the text on it, epecially because the text is white and big. I also like the border on the bottom image and again, here, I like the fading on the sides which make the website pop out a little. Very nice on both designs!

vtopaloff: This was one of my favourites! What I liked the most was the little S-shaped divider between the stock image and the content. The only thing I did not like about the whole design was the metalicy/white buttons with the rounded effect. I felt like it did not match. I did however love the layout and the way content was placed... especially in the bottom and where the S-divider thing was. Awesome!

CreativeCreator: I liked the style of your design. I felt like too many colours were combined however. I like red, black, and blue, but felt as the three colours together was too much. Any two of them would have worked better in my mind. I really really liked your menu at the top. I like how there are specific icons for each item. The yellow colour fo rthe contact us button is great too! Also the "For Government", etc. buttons in the header are very fancy and match the design well. I hope to see more work from you in the future!

Erthy: Great to see another design from you! I absolutely love the simplicity of your design. I like all these designs that used the red and white combination like yours. It looks so nice. I like how your menu is a little bit different and how the logo on the left is at the same level as the menu. I really liked the masthead image and the text over it. The text over it looks real nice and looks like it was made by a professional design company in LA or something :) Lastly, I like how your submenu (For Government, etc) fits itself into the image on the left.

amir_daman: What a unique style! I liked yours very much! I love how the design looks like it is made up of papers on top of each other. This is probably the most unique entry in the contest. I also liked how professional/corporate it looks. The stock image and effect you used are also very nice. Lastly, I liked the design of the newsletter sign up though I think it would get more signups if it were closer to the top of the design. Oh, also I really like the menu and how the selected menu item is red on top. Great work!

DrZapp [first design]: Wow I really liked your use of the company logo. It is everywhere. Very cool! I like how structured your design is. Also I love how the sidebar divider is straight, but I could use the curved image as a background between the sidebar and the main content. I hope that makes sense... Basically, this will help in the coding of the design I have to do later. I did not like the two icons on the sidebar you used, but really liked the sidebar footer. It looks so nice and professional. Lastly, I felt as you design would be a pleasure to code. I usually try not to let this influence my final decision, but it does make me like you more

DrZapp [second design]: I love the logo placement and the call us area on the top right. I really really like the Earth logos on the bottom. I am not sure if we would use those, but they look so nice and fit in well with what we are trying to do. I love the whole middle section: "Saving Energy One Step at a Time", "welcome to liberty redco", "One of the most discussed..." The design of those three items are great!

bennjoe: I love the dark red. It looks a little strange with the brighter red logo, but once you get pasted it, it looks great! I wish the logo was darker, not your design lighter. The whole design looks incredibly professional! It is truly amazing! I like almost everything: the sales-oriented "Contact" button at the top, the awesome news section, the footer links, the background on the sides, the contact number at the top. I would have changed the selected menu item color to something other than black and gotten rid of "No:" in "Contact No:", but then I'm just being nic-picky and trying to find something wrong with your design. :) I hope to see more from you in my other contests!

jnjnnino: Woo hoo... one of my favourite designers. I like this design like all your others. I like the menu wiht the little fancy lighting effect. I like the masthead image divided into three parts with their own buttons. I like the logo and how it subtlety changes to white at the bottom (nice touch). I like your list style with the green arrows. Lastly, I like how you have a subtle background with white squares like they are supposed to be solar panels or something? Oh, I also found the guy in the yellow hat incredibly hilarious!

bizzard: Your two designs are amongst my favourites of this whole contest. What I like? I loved the white space (well... really red space...) used with the white text on the masthead image (especially in the second version). Everything looks so professional in your design. I loved the two larger content boxes. They look so professional too with their grey background. I also like your sidebar which is half new, half contact (though we do not need a news feed for this website). I love it!!

stardesigns99: Your latest new feed is very interesting. Very unique. I like the selected menu item design with the line on top. Hopefully everyone would understand that. I like the two-colour blue font you used in the masthead image and I liked how the font is huge. I also like the buttons in the masthead image. Latsly, I really liked the <hr> divider image line thing. It looks very nice, yet simple. Great to see another entry from you!

noobdesigner: Love the name, but the design is anything but noob. I love the simplicity of your design. I like how the masthead image and the menu and header are huge in comparison to the content. I loved the Contact Us button. I love the menu with the white and grey and the underline for the selected item. I really like this design!

dechapoe: Yay, good to see you again! I like how you decided to go with a black theme instead of what everybody else went with. It really makes your design stand out! I love how the logo and menu items are designed and placed in respect to the rest of the design. I also really liked the image you used. Great job!

suke: Great to see you again as well! I like the white-fade-to-red thing on the sides of the design. I am a little confused with the boxes on the masthead image, but liked how they fit in with the image on the left of the solar panel. I liked how simple your content section is. Sometimes people just over-complicate things a little too much. I like simplicity! Great job!

Ufff.... that took a while. :)
