    Definitely money.
I don't like being upfront in the scene. I'm a little bit shy and being famous would kill me

If not all fame brought me money, than definitely money. It would be tough living in the spotlight.

All you people are saying money? Really?

Personally I think fame is the better. A lot of famous people didn't have much money. I think it's more important to be remembered years and years after you are dead for something good than live a spoiled life and only be remembered slightly for a while by people who knew you.

In the wise words of Tupac - "All I want is money, f@#$ the fame, I'm a simple man"

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Like Vinnie Paz says, "Fuck fame, I've studied the fame closely. They build you up, then you get robbed like Shane Mosley"

I'll still go with fame though; because with fame (being a musician), I probably have a better chance at getting people to change their outlook on politics and war through my music.

I DONT WANT MONEY OR FAME.

A HUMAN cant be satisfied with BOTH MONEY AND FAME. If a human gets 10K$ he wants 20k$, if he gets 20k $, he wants even more.

Money is IGNORANCE, its like dogs catching their tail, sure we need money to live no one denies that.

what i want in life is "WTF am i doing jere on earth."

Even though i love money, i'd pick fame. Money is easier to earn than fame.

I had this as an impromptu question in an oratorical contest. Its money over fame because fame goes with to the grave, and money is with you forever.

Exactly, unless you are just wanting your life to be comfortable by eliminating most of your bills, the strive for money just to buy ridiculous things (expensive cars/clothes) will never ever be fulfilled you will always want more, and more..which keeps you stressed and struggling to gain more money to buy more new things to keep your "high" going.

Im still agreeing with wanting money but my only desire to achieve a good financial status is so I can have like 3 bills a month and eliminate responsibilies therefor freeing up time/funds to do the things I want to do..... (not purchase stuff to show off to others as that type of happiness lasts maybe 2-3 months til you buy something else.)

    i want money.
you cant help other people out with your fame (unless you are the president or some governemnt top).

with money, you can donate to charities, give money to those in need and all the good donations.
Fame may come along once you work up to receive the money.

I suppose it depends on what you are famous for. If you are a famous author or a famous director or you know... famous for doing anything artistic or worthwhile, great. That is the sort of lasting fame that may be worth attaining. It's also the kind of fame that the paparazzi don't really bother you with too much. It's not "tabloid fame." If you are famous the way that Britney Spears or Paris Hilton is, then... Well I don't think people like that are truly remembered anyway. Why would they be?
