The whole thread is ridiculous considering their are Christian groups that make a habit of playing with poisonous snakes without being harmed.

Background to that, they use rattle snakes (IIRC), who dont bite in a hurry. They also dance with them correctly so they dont attack, they have anti-venom just in case. There was a group who used cobras, most of them are dead now because they got bitten.

It's interesting how many people can find Jesus in things and yet nobody know what Jesus actually looked like.

Frankly, that piece of toast looks more like my neighbor, Bob.

Isn't that the same with every religion? including Islam?

I do not believe all the miracles of god mentioned in religious scriptures are true.
They are just made by human to make the follower follow a single path without thinking much or asking questions.
Religion was the first successful attempt by human to build a community. It had given them a reason to stick together, do good things and follow a single path without using the thing called brain. Human created God to explain things that could have not explained otherwise.

Asking questions is a basic human nature we love to ask Why? and How? but when we do not find a satisfactory answer, the question haunts us.
So here comes the God. How? God did that.. Why? Because God says so.
