Hi. I haven't owned a domain for over 2 years, but recently found that all my contact details are still being listed on the website Whoisbucket.com. As my domain name has expired, and is no longer on Whois.com, I'm guessing that this must be cached data, and could stay on the website until someone else registers my old domain name and provides new contact details, which is unlikely to happen. I've tried everything (contacted 1&1, Verisign), but I've just no idea how to get this information removed. If I were to re-registering my old domain name and provide false registrar information, would this eventually be picked up by Whoisbucket.com and would this replace my true contact details? What are the implications of providing false registrar information? Is it illegal, or would I just risk having my domain deleted (which wouldn't bother me, as I don't want it any way). Having my details on the internet annoys me enough for me to want to pay £10 to re-register my domain under a false name, so any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!
unfortunately there are services that display "historic whois" info, so your details will always be available.
funny they not even have contact form or link may be u should contact with their whois data and ask for data removal.
