Hi there. I have bought a site which was then transfered to my server.

    The traffic stats:

As you can see, the no. of visitors did not increase but the pageview has been increased dramatically.

THe first IP on the list is 69.73.169.176 which i found out to be my server's IP. Why is my server accessing my own page?

I'm also worry about the second and third ip also. Should i ban those IP on my robots.txt?

Because I'm afraid of I will get my ad publisher account banned for these "false impression".

    You help is much appreciated!

    Hi,

It seems that you gained 3 more visitors (69.73.169.176 + 60.51.160.37 + 219.95.44.108) who are very hungry. The first one (69.73.169.176) is clearly a robot. You should ask your hosting company about it. The other two are from Malaysia.

You cannot ban any IP with robots.txt. You need to use .htaccess to ban IP addresses.
