Fall in Alexa Rankings of my website in past few weeks

Hello everybody,
Of late I have been observing a drastic fall in Alexa rankings of my website http://www.webeveron.com/. It has dropped from 492,000 to around 902,000. Is it really a matter of concern that the Alexa rank should fall spirally downwards. Any insights on how to improve the Alexa rankings are warmly welcomed.

 

It might be the effect of google penguin update in case you have spammy backlinks on your site. Just check with your backlinks and remove spammy links, if any. Hope that helps!

I wonder, people still worry about Alexa statistics. See, Alexa statistics is mere count of people with Alexa toolbar. Its not accurate in terms of counting visitors, so don’t worry if Alexa traffic goes up or down. Rather, use Google Analytics to track your traffic.
