    Hello,

    I wonder why this faked referrals search engines bombing method was so much time overlooked.

    Any ideeas for a wide-range fix for this? Contacting hundred of thousands of novice webmasters doesn't sound like the best solution

    Holy cow, I had heard about this kind of spam, but I had no idea so many sites have their stats available online where anyone can get to them. Sure are a lot of novice website owners out there.

    funny some of the sites i've found in my logs that appear to be using this (unless they have a different intranet that actually does have a link?) - including the International Atomic Energy Agency .. a little surprising, no?
