My notification emails are rejected since some people used faked email address. Some of them are adult sites but some are not. Why do people use faked email?

Just reject them. If they can't give you a legit email, and a legit name for that matter, then why bother reviewing their site? I can guarantee you that 99% of the time it will be some crap site you would never list in a million years.

Yes, just reject then, they don’t deserve any respect, I hate this but I hate more people that submit links and don’t pay.

Reject them both, but 1st with the guys who don't pay send them a PayPal 'money request' it always works if they use the correct email address

Before you send the 'money request' check to make sure the site they have submitted is acceptable to be listed on your site

If all is OK, then make the 'money request' I know it is extra work 2/3 minutes work but as they are usually so surprised they pay up, so it is worth the effort:)

They must be using fake emails because they want to hide the fact that they are the owners of these adult sites

Generally, if the submission email notification bounces, we usually just delete the submission. If it is an email associated with the submitted domain and not a free email or @ some other domain, we'll give the submission a second look.

To answer the orginal posters question.

I use a fake email for directory submission when I ge the feeling that the the directory owner my harvest my email for himself or others.

Its surprising how doing a some directory subs alwyas results in more email junk arrivig in your inbox.

I use an alternate email address for directory submission, and yes, I do check those emails an respond acordingly when asked to.
I just separate my main account from the one I use for all SEO.

I do receive a lot of spam too, but is the price you have to pay to distribute your sites.

I don't think directory administrator are spammers, mind you, but your email account goes around a lot, and spammers are always looking for those.
