Fake sig penalty HELP

Ok emailed support 6 times i never recieved one email back.

I was penalized for fake sig and asked what it means and how to stop it no one answered question.

here is what site said to me and i can understand if i knew it was wrong fine get mad but i asked 6 times what not to do.

You have been banned for the following reason:
When you come back learn to use proper sigs and not those lame fake versions.

Ok what can i have in sig. I would only like email and urls to some sites.

can i have 4 links like it says or not.

Now for adding links in any message is it only urls that i have in sig or can i add any as long as not affiliate urls.

Site says you can add urls to messages but does not say they have to be ones in sig or not. Also if i want to change urls sometime will i change them in sig and all urls listed will be changed or what.

Now for the adding urls to messages. How is that done. Is it done when i reply and site adds my urls from sig or do i do it manuly.

Also if i do it manul what is percent i can add urls to site does not say. it says only if more replies have urls than ones that do not will i get banned.

Wish terms were more specific like only urls to be added are ones in your sig. I also would like emails that tell you been penalized to tell you what not to do so anyone knows what they did wrong.

I am sure someone will say it is listed but terms are not so clear so some confussion on my part.

I also searched for fake sig in forum never found anything so if someone will please explain what what i can add to signature like 3 or 4 urls. How i add some urls on some messages and any other thing that will stop this fake sig penalty from happening again.

Thanks waiting for any answers because i gave up emailing support after 6 times i figured i would get atleast one email in 2 weeks.

 

I never heard of a fake signature penalization...???

i guess a fake sig is you having the term (free directory listing) and the url pointing to a porn site selling popcorn.
you can have 4 links in your sig, they must be honest links, not to deceiving.
you can post links in your posts, but as part of the topic in hand and to show proof of your comments, not link to your popcorn selling porn sites.
this is not a link farm, it is a good forum and it does not need freeloaders filling the place up with crap links for the benifit of yourself and not the members.

That's a proper signature. You can't include a sig within your reply.

Signature what can i have In it.

3 to 4urls correct. If i want to post urls in a message do they have to be ones in my signature or not.

Ok, I guess you're trying to figure out how to add links to your sig.
Go to:
UserCP => Edit Signature

 

Ok everyone has links in replies how did you add them. Are they in your sig or do you add them when you post reply.

Also are links in your sig only ones allowed or can any link be in post.

No, you don't add them when you're replying. That is not allowed.
If you've been a member for at least 7 days, have a positive reputation, and have at least 10 posts, then your sig will automatically show up.

Then i do not every add any urls site adds my urls from sigs. If that is it i wish someone would have told me this after emailing support 6 times.

Recap only urls allowed are ones i put in signature and site ads those automaticaly to any post or reply i make.

That's not quite right. You can include URLs (for example, as a reference) in posts. You just can't have it in a signature format.
Other than that, I think you got it.

 

Ok lest ask it this way.

I put 2 to 4 links in signature correct. When i post are those links posted by this site in any reply or post i make.

I know i can add a url to site is i write post about it sometime but main problem is how do you have the 2 urls show up in post above.

Are they urls in your sig and site ads them for you or do you have to add them when you reply or post.

Are you adding urls to post or are they added by site and are they the urls from your sig. Hope this makes it clear what i am trying to figure out how urls you have above are being posted.

I can not tell you how hard it was to get correct answer. I am on another post right now and 4 people are not even close to what i am asking.

the 2 urls in my sig are added to every post i make, by the site, i just set it up once in my user CP, Edit sig. option.
is that clear enough?

 

Yep that makes sense now. I wish faq said that urls are in sig and posted by site. I also wish it said that you only add urls when you need to show site that topic is about.

Was trying to find out if i was getting penalized because i added urls to post not sig.

If you add urls to post you get penalized. If you add urls to sig that is fine. I added 2 urls to a reply and was penalyzed. i did not have sig urls set up.

Basicaly i needed to know how people had thier urls on site. They put it in Signature. I added urls to post not signature and was penalzed but support would not email me back and tell me why.

Ok what happens if i want to change urls in sig can i do that.

with regards with your second question, yes you can. just do the same thing you did to activate your sig.
