I never really looked into this before but any way to turn a fake pr domain to a real one besides waiting for next update?

i know a nonconfirmed one will get Green PR when you put a site on it and let google index it, not sure about fake ones though.

i found a few expired domains with PR but all red :/

Good question. I have a few domains with PR which are redirects - I suppose if I was to use them for their own sites they would retain their PR, but this time it would be real. Just a guess.

This is certainly a NO you cant make a fake PR to real PR, if this was possible you could forward your domain to google and get a PR10 then make it real:)

I think you can convert fake PR into real PR, but if you managed to keep all the pointing back links to that particular domain, or simply build another backlinks you will get a good pagerank value.

they are not pointing backlinks on a fake domain, backlinks are pointing to the domain that the PR belongs.

After you do the procedure of the backlinks you will get PR0 on the first coming update and then google will give PR to your domain(the 2nd following update) therefore it will be easiest to use and domain with no rank at all
