Your best off checking each domain manually. Theres a few things you can do like check archive.org or search for the ip address in search engines to see what results you get. You wont get the PR for the sites doing it this way but you will get results about the sites if they were even possible to receive the pr they are listed as having. Also the best way to judge if they really do have that type of page rank is simply be seeing what back links they have, and how old the domain is. If its too good to be true then it most likely is.

CheckPageRank.net is the best for me. It gives the number of backlinks, domain age and everything in addition to Validation of PR.

DomainPageRank.com best PR checker IMHO. I disagree CPR in a lot of ways but I wouldn't say don't use them as more than 95% domains checked using chackpagerank.net is accurate.

If I'm fortunate to aquire are PR4 or PR5 site I always check before
purchasing. I've sold a PR4 here in the auction zone which was
validated. So I guess I can vouch for myself as a recommended seller:)
I also offer a seven day cooling period for anybody who wishes to
return to domain if for some reason they are not happy with it :)
