Do you think this is the right way to check fake page rank by searching in Google for info:domain.com Some time I got PM for link exchange form site which has good PR but only 7-8 back-links. But while check in Google for info:domain.com , I only got Sorry, no information is available for the URL domain.com Give your opinion .... (sorry 4 misspelled title, however this mistake can rank this page if some one do same mistake in Google search and type Pake page rank )
Yes, that is the correct way to check. You can also go to www.tech24.org/pagerank-verification This tool also use the same method, but is more user-friendly.
or type in this: cache:domain.com and see if both url's do match, As far as Sorry, no information is available for the URL domain.com It raises red flag for me. No reason for legit domain to have no info on it. Usually it was dropped, expired domain that still shows toolbar PR but it will lose it with next update which is coming in October. Right now we have toolbar update for inner pages. Read more here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1939324
