Look at this: www.fillmyforum.com. They write messages for the forums. So if you start forum, you can offer forum posting to get first initial traffic. What do you think about this service? Is this good or it is some shit? How to promote my forum: www.webmastermafia.net? How to get first traffic? How to get initial posting? Does this service or similar services is good way to start forum or is better to permit posting without registration at the first time?

Maybe if you can write by point format it would be easier for us to read and give you our opinions. Cheers

Its a easy way to start a forum. You need to get your post count up, but it needs to be good posts. Just start posting stuff to yourself and answering it. Make something usefull. Your the soul contributer. Just get out there and do it.

Best if, you can round up a few like minded friends and have a lively discussion, when potential members sees a lively forum, they tend to sign up

I fear if i begin answering myself on a forum that i have that i may develop multiple personality disorder, where one wants a nice orderly forum and another wants to wreak havoc. :p:)

in my opinion, the top forum posting company out there happens to be mine. forum-posting.info and we have been doing forum posts for new and old forums for 2 years now. Our rates can't be beat.

I don't really think paid forum posting is worth the money. It's like going out and talking to a person who's paid to talk to you. Sound like something you'd do in the real world?

It may have to kick start a forum but that's all to it, never use it for too long or it defeats the purpose of a forum.

Paid forum posting in not a bad thing! If you have some cash I will recomend this little boost of your community. It's a good way to start. Nobody likes empty forums. Thay look dead or at least boring. Nobody will ask a question there because they know that there is nobody to answer the question. I would recommend you to choose a reliable person from this forum to post in yourse. Here we have GREAT guys that will for sure do a better job than some "best quallity paid forum posting service providers". Just make a thread in the Marketplace subforum and explain your needs. Hire a bunch of posters but don't sit back and relax! It's your forum! Youre community! Be the most active person in it!

    Good luck mate! :)

I also support the idea of getting somebody do the forum postings for you. But I would also suggest doing it in a limited way, so you can see the progress.

Unfortunately nobody like to be part of an empty site. I experienced it last year starting my first site.

If you have other sites, use them to get traffic to your forum.

Run a competition with some good rewards after you get some posts.

Be member of other forums, put your link on signatures.

Allow new members get the signature and avatar from the beginning, that will make lot of people interested get a link from your forum.

Create a blog, write articles on your forum topics, submit them to social networking sites.

Good luck to your new venture.

We should all be a member of each others forums and post to them just to get each others traffic/members up without having to pay for them. If anybody wants to do that with me, I'll do the same for you. I run a computer repair site and I am in the middle of switching domain hosts and forum provider. So I don't really want to keep the posts at 0. My forum is

The posts that I've seen from these sites always seem cold and generic (like hey guys what software do you use for developing website?). And some users will be able to tell they are paid postings as well. But yeah, you have to start somewhere.

unless you bring the value to your members your forum is doomed.. no fake posting will ever help.. Your forum should be a source of information for your users (good examples: digitalpoint.com, taxforum.us)

Fake posters or not, a forum can prosper only if there are informative helpful posts.
