Hey guys, Using fake details is this a big problem?

When I am using big sites I always use my real info however, I want to buy some cheap hosting and I don't fancy giving my info to one of these not so well known sites.

    What you guys think?

I have done it in the past, however if you use Web Of Trust then you should be fine. Also you should use genuine info if you are registering a domain in future. Certainly it is better to be honest if you can.

It is for hosting so that's why I didn't think it would matter so much

If your contact info doesn't match your billing info (Paypal, credit card etc...) then the recipient (host or registrar) may suspect fraud and cancel the transaction.
