Just a warning and lesson learned. If you post to forums offering free submissions to your directory, expect to get a large number of submissions. I received over a 1000 site submissions in less than 36 hours. There are some great sites that I have added to my directory but I've also deleted about 50 out of the first 200 because they were google ad sites or just crappy all around sites. I finally had to start charging a $1 just to halt the traffic so I can catch up. Good luck with all your endeavors.

Less than 5 submissions since then. I person paid the $1 which after paypal takes their fees, turns into 67 cents. I wasn't planning on charging for submissions so soon so I was suprised someone paid to get in.
