Failed Registrar Transfer (wtf?)

I've been trying to transfer this domain name to my Namecheap account for several months now (off and on). Originally, I was told that I was going to have to wait until January 2008 (this was back in November or December of 2007) so I waited. Now, in February 2008, I attempt to transfer it again.
Check out this email I recieved:

That's funny. I think you should contact the registrar where the domain is located now.

The problem appears to be with your existing registrar. Who is your registrar? GoDaddy has a policy of not allowing transfers out within 60 days of changing the registrant information.

    It's not GoDaddy, but similar.

About the 60 days thing, I changed my contact email address in the last few days. Does that count as changing the registrant information? So I might just have to wait 60 days from whenever I did that (a few days ago)?

Yep Network Solutions and Godaddy both do the registrant info BS. I'm sure there are others. Pretty soon you'll have to transfer all your names on full moons only.:D

Seems its the problem at your current registrar's end. You need to contact them imo.
