Failed evaluation due to ads not found..

I have a website that i have been trying to add my ads to for awhile but am now confused as to what to do. The extensions on some of my pages are .htm and .html since I don't know of any other way to add the PHP or ASP code without the proper extension, I renamed them to .asp files and deleted the old pages with the html extensions from the web server. The check still gives me an error about not having the links running on these pages. Well, now technically those pages don't exist. Is there any way to get around this or is that site just not going to be eligible for awhile?

    Thanks a lot!

Hmm... Anyone? I still have this error.. I renamed the entire directory the pages that were giving me errors on to something else on the web server so those pages do not exist and nothing from the main site links to them.

    Thanks~

whoa, sorry nobody responded to this sooner. I would not change the page names unless you are planning on doing a 301 redirect to them....that would be a no-no.

If you can be specific about what you have done (exactly) then we can help you, but without any particulars it is pretty much like driving blind. A few questions:

    1. Does your server support php?
    2. Can you use an .htaccess file on your server?
    a. If so, did you try to put one up with the code in the setup instructions?

    Thank you for your response!

First off, I really hate to deal with these pages because they are extremely outdated and frankly I do not want the public to see them anymore! I don't do much with the particular site they are on, so I haven't cleaned up old files that are not linkable from the rest of the site for quite some time. So are you saying I can just add a 301 redirect to fix this problem?

Otherwise, yes the server supports php and .htaccess, however I did not try that. I guess if it comes down to it, I will invest the time.

    Thanks again for your response!

heh. Did you read the setup instructions? :) It tells you how to setup your .htm/.html files to execute the php inside them in a couple of different ways.

As for the 301 deal, I am not following what you said...
