Wow, does Google allow something like that? Usage of their logo, even in parody, and in combination with their ads? I'm shocked.

Copyright wise, those doing parody have won under fair use.

Well I could use a few extra clicks and I do have a lot of BUTTVIEWS lately so... perhaps I can get some extra cash with this ;) Are they also supporting BOOBSEARCH?

Don't worry, if they think they'll make money of it it should be implemented soon enough! ;)

Not to rain on the parade or anything but.... I wouldn't do something like that. Google has been on a mission lately to crack down on people using their trademark and they have been very protective of it, parody or not.

Heh, Saturday Night Live would be out of business if parody wasn't allowed, instead of being one of the longest lived television shows ever.

Dude, SNL is an American institution. Some kid in his mom's basement making a Google parody ad ain't. There's a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG difference.

Also, it's not reallly a question of CAN you beat Google in court if you do a parody of them on the net, it's a question of can you AFFORD to beat them in court.

Google is already taking on Microsoft. You think they will hesitate to squash a kid and his internet connection?

P.S. I have no love for Google, God knows they've screwed me over a lot, but I'm very practical, that's all. :)

I guess if Google finds it offensive or something theyll take em to court. So true with that statement can you afford to beat them in court. I can just imagine how long they can make a proceeding.
