Fade Document

Does anyone know how I can fade a document like this one:

I have Word, Irfanview, and Adobe Photoshop to do it in.

blending options > gradient overlay

In adobe photoshop? I see Image, Adjustments, Gradient Map ?? Same thing?

 

yea in adobe photoshop.
1. Select the layer (make sure not locked)
2. right click > blending options
3. Select gradient overlay

Tips:
1. play with the opacity levels for amount of fade you want
2. change the black to something lighter

 

you can do this thing in corel draw. What i think this type of work is only possiabe in coreldraw.

 

get the layer you want to fade in photoshop, then in the layers pallete find the rectangle with a cirlce inside it, click it to apple a layer mask over it, chose the gradient tool with a black forground color. And have the gradient go from black to transparent, and then click&drag a gradient over the layer to get your fade effect.
