I was checking out the keyword selector tool, and was hoping that people would lend their thoughts to what their techniques for using that result to determine actual searches. From what I understand, Overture combines the total search number from all of the Yahoo engines. What I currently do, is anytime I see a result for Overture, I usually double the result to determine total google search results. Also, I multiply the Overture number by .75 to determine MSN searches. Does this sound right according to current market shares? Would you use a different calculation for more country specific terms eg: North Dakota Senate Race that would 99.9 be searches originating from the US? Would be interested in hearing some of your thoughts here... Thanks... Starke
