    1. Please give me examples of all those forum softwares, that can be used with MySQL version 4.1 with unlimited databases (with Restore/Backup)

    2. My designer loaded Mingle Forum by cartpauj,Version: 1.0.30.
He says only such a kind of forum can be supported by the above mySQL version. Is he right?

    3. I don't mind using Mingle Forum, but I don't know how to make the letters typed in the forum bold or on different colours.Whenever I click "ADD HEX COLOUR,"EMBED YOU TUBE VIDEO",or "IMAGE",a code is inserted. It becomes very irritating to use.I don't know how to use these codes.

Please guide me on all the above points.

I also use Mingle and it can be troubling sometimes. Here's an example for your question on how to do it.

EXAMPLE (on my forum, this shows red)
    " EXAMPLE " (without quotes)

So you push the color code in your bar.
it will show like this: [color=#][/color]
your then put the hex code after the # sign
in between the brackets, you put whatever you want that color to be.

    Hope this helped some.

    You're welcome.

I wish I could help with the other 2 questions, but unfortunately, I'm not technical like that and really don't know much about that stuff. I was able to help with the 3rd question because I've had to go through trial and error with using the forum. It gets easier over time but is frustrating in the beginning.

^ edit : I've tested that by installing Mingle forum on WP - there is no direct provision for custom BBcode..
