Facing problems with Beijing Olympics Games for PC!!!

I have recently installed the Beijings Olympics game on my PC, but I am facing a few problems. To start with the performance of the game is slow and although I have changed some graphics settings, but this problem still persists to an extent. And then how can I change the name of my player. By default every player is given the name 'nain'.

Can someone help me out here?

I think the game sucks, I have been looking for the same issues for over a year now.
