Facing problem on DP since last 3 hrs - is any one else ?

Hi Friends,
I am facing a problem for last 3 hrs, when i click the forums home page , I see Database connection error page

And for last 3 hrs this is happening on Firefox
And Now I came on IE it worked well sometime, but even on IE i see this issue but comparetively lesser then on firefox, Please help !

Is anyone else seeing this issue

Somehow managed to get into General chat after clicking so many times and thought to check this with others

It only works when I refresh 3 time any URL of this forum otherwise it shows Database issue

I am too and its pissing me off.

 

I am having the same exactly problems as well and when it does load it seems like its taking forever. I am using Opera as its doing it for me. Does the same in FireFox as well.

 

Yes and problems are still present.

 

I have been struggling with these problems whole day.. The forum is available most of the times and is very very slow.. I fear that it doesn't gets penalized by Google for being slow and unavailable.. I think their are having problems while changing or updating databases. But they should have notified us.

 

It's a database problem and i think so it happened after a long time now ... Hope it will be fine soon

I had that last night too, and it was running very slowly. It seems to have cleared up for me though.

 

yea I have been having it been doing my head in to be honest

started around 10am UK time this morning

 

It was not working for around 15 hours !
That was some DDos attack as said by Admin.

It's just a normal databse transfer, it's back to normal again

 

Yup got the same problem but I am happy it has been resolved now

 

Problems with database error occurred several hours ago for me, am running Firefox. The forum appears to running really well now.

 

it was a DDOS attack. it was posted in the Feedback forum .

Site is becoming very popular LOL. Hackers target only popular sites for DDOS. I hope our DP is the recent target after Twitter.

 

we must appreciate shawns efforts to bring dp back to normal, DP rocks

 

i encountering also the error in database since yesterday, hope this error will get fix soon,

It was resolved earlier, but now it's back again.
