Hi Friends, I face the Google cache problem with my one site My page is www.mysite.com/web-development-review.aspx and its showing in Google cache with www.mysite.com/review.aspx can you tell me what is the problem? what to do to resolve this problem? Please advice.. Thanks,
Both these pages show 404 errors at the moment. have you taken the pages down? to set pages indexed quickly by search engines there are a couple of things to consider. firstly make sure you have both an XML and HTML sitemap on your site and that your URL is included within those sitemaps. for example - http://www.your-domain.com/sitemap.xml and http://www.your-domain.com/sitemap.html also make sure you have google webmaster tools implemented on your site. This is very simple but here's is a good place to start - http://www.google.com/webmasters/. once you have done this then make sure you submit your sitemaps to google. this will make them aware of all the URL's within the sitemaps and they should be able to pick up your pages quicker.
i think because of the asp. features. most of the time google cache get trouble to index asp.net website on their search engine. try to make google friendly website to get good exposure from search engine.
Most probably you have changed the URL. Google will keep the old URL in its cache until it crawls it again and see the new 404 response.
