Facing problem getting verified status in paypal

Today itself I got a CC from HDFC Bank.Tried using it to verify paypal but could not for some reason.

Wanted to ask if a CC requires any "PIN" for activation ?
or else
Do I need to go to the bank branch and tell them about the CC not functioning?

I read in another thread that people are having trouble verifying paypal with Indian Credit cards. You should contact your bank and ask them if your CC is fully funtional or not. CC doesn't require a PIN for activation.
BTW you can also check on some other sites. Purchase some low cost item and you'll know without contacting bank if it is active or not.

 

Call the number at the back of your credit card and tell them the problem you are facing, they should be the people who has the power to hekp you.

Let me figure out whether now I can get myself verified or not on PP.
