Facial Recognition Script

baically i would like a class which i can use for many purposes, it should work like so:

1) photo is analyzed, face is detected.
2) many different ratios are calculated, e.g between the eyes and circumference, between the mouth and bottom of head and mouth of bottom of head.
3) there should be many of these done. Then texture should be analyzed and tone, of skin and eyes.
4) the algorythyms should then generate a code, which contains all this data.

This will enable me for example to create a social network where users create accounts upload a photo, which has a code generated for it and then when they upload more
photos they can have codes generated for them and if the codes match the users or any of their friends codes they can be automatically tagged.

I am not looking for these codes to be completely unique and would expect them to be unique for 1 in every 100 thousand.

As well as creating the class i would like you to create a simple user account creator and image uploader which automatically tags photos.

This sounds like quite a large project. Can I ask your budget?

 

my budget is low for this kind of project, but there is lot's of free open source code that does parts of this fuction on the internet, which i am happy for the programmer to use.

I have to be honest, this is not an easy feat at all and you're going to need to hire a company that has a decent amount of skill. Rule of thumb is when a client discusses a project like this and they say "my budget is low", it's generally not worth trying to talk details because it would be taken on at a loss. A lot of people have misconceptions about software, and to think that there is a lot of free code out there that does a good job would be one of them. If all the parts of the face were already parsed and the math was there it wouldn't be hard, but there is a reason that casinos and police departments spend millions and millions on this type of software. If you'd like to say what your budget is you might get better results, but it sounds more like a feature that isn't within the realm of possibility for you to get this started.

 

I'll do this for about $7k in JAVA.
