Facebookuk - how to promote

Can any one guide me how can i promote my social network site facebookuk.co.uk so start getting new users.

There's a lot of ways to promote it, but my advice would be to use a different domain. What you have there is way over the line of trademark infringement - and it is quite possible that all the work you put into a site on that domain will be lost if and when Facebook decide to send lawyers after you.

 

You have chosen a bad name....facebook will most likely issue you with a C&D notice or worse still, a court order if you start getting attention or any sizeable traffic.

 

But can i sell this domain to some one with good bucks is it a good idea or what

 

If you can find someone who wants to pay "good bucks" !!!

 

you can promote with facebook by developing your own applications

 

In my opinion, this is not a good idea. If there are people with "good bucks" that are dumb enough to spend it on obvious trademark infringing domains, I've not met them yet.

 

Agreed, noone is going to buy this domain off you because it is so blatantly a copyright infringement.

And idea of making a UK Facebook? Why? What for? Who would go to "english" facebook just to meet more english people when they are already on the "us" facebook...

I would rather try to make a social bookmarking UK website, so that you can bookmark only UK sites to get targeted traffic for people who sell only in the UK.
