when i heard the news about facebook, that it'll be shut down on March, I instantly read the whole article. There's a lot of comment there too. I got surprised. But I think He will not shut it down. I hope its not true. Although some says that the FB's administrator doesn't care about the number of dollars he's getting from the site, it's really hard to believe. And besides, FB helps a lot of people in communicating back from their old friends.

NO WAY! Facebook is just starting to grow. As a matter of fact, I read somewhere that millions of $s are being injected in facebook by mega companies. There is NO way, it will END on March or whatever other date the rumour mill spits out.

facebook is worth over 80 billion now with their new games plus they are releasing new games from Zynga and going head to head with Gmail with their new email service. So i very much doubt that they will be shutting down. Its just a another hoax i remember reading something similar when they had only 30 mllion members. Facebook is the second largest site in the world. Over 600 mln users worldwide. A LOT of money invested and made. I think even if Mark would be so "stressed", he'll just sell his share and retire... I'm sure he can afford it All this is just a bad joke.

Havent you guys, social networks shut down for a couple of reasons. Alien attack day...facebook is outside watching the aliens of course... and judgement day...office is closed for sure on judgement. After the aliens attack, and judgement day is over... Facebook is back in business.
