    its totally fake rumors, its almost a big network in internet world now so I don't think so it will happen.

    well I am not sure about this I still think it is just the flavor of the month and soon people will lose intrest in this and move on to the next thing.
    it is much the same as msn used to be many years ago and that died in the end i used to get loads of trafic from all the rooms on msn but its all dead now...

    Why would a big company like Facebook close?

    If they really wanted to make larger amounts of profit they could start charging. Granted they would lose a lot of members, however there are members out the hundreds of millions registered that would pay.

    I have read that such type of news was just hoax I dont think that Facebook will shutdown considering that its value is worth 50 plus Billion already ....Its not wise for businessman to do that unless they are going to make Facebook a paid site for users
